The enchanting tale of Peter Pan is coming to Basing House in Basingstoke on August 22, 2024. This unique adaptation by the Dorset-based theatre company SISATA promises to transport audiences to Neverland like never before.
Inspired by the Isle of Portland off the Jurassic Coast, this production features a mix of pirates, smugglers, and even a prehistoric Jurassic monster. The performance is designed to be interactive, encouraging audience participation and engagement. With original live music and song, it aims to create a playful and honest rendition of J.M. Barrie’s timeless story.
The show will explore themes of intergenerational understanding and collaboration, reflecting on how we can learn from each other to face the challenges of the modern world. It will be an open-air theatre experience, with performances at 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
Tickets are priced at £17 for adults and £14 for children. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families and theatre enthusiasts to enjoy a magical evening under the stars.
