Moonlight Walk 2023 in Basingstoke

The Moonlight Walk 2023 will take place on Saturday, 30 September, starting from Festival Place at 9 pm. The theme of the event is Glitter and Glow, which means participants are encouraged to wear bright outfits, glitter and glow in the dark accessories to light up the night. The walk is 10 km long and will follow a route around Basingstoke. Along the way, there will be marshals, music, sweets and treats to keep the walkers motivated and entertained. At the end of the walk, participants will receive a medal, a glass of non-alcoholic fizz and refreshments.

The registration fee for the Moonlight Walk 2023 is £20 for adults, £12 for children aged 11-17 and free for children under 10. The fee covers the cost of organising the event and includes a walker number, a link to a Spotify playlist, a sponsorship pack and a finisher’s medal. Participants are also asked to pledge to raise at least £50 in sponsorship for the hospice, which will help them provide vital services to patients and families in need. Those who reach £50 will also get a free reusable glowstick to use on the night.
