Christmas tree recycling

Christmas tree recycling drop-off points will be available from Saturday 28 December 2024 to Friday 31 January 2025 for residents to recycle their real trees once the decorations are down.

All trees collected through the garden waste service or through the collection points will be transformed into wood chippings to be reused in parks and play areas, or turned into ProGrow soil conditioner.

Remember if you are a garden waste subscriber you can place your Christmas tree out for collection on your normal collection day from Monday 6 January 2025.
